A minimum of 120 credit hours is required for a Bachelor of Science in Business.

Note


To earn a Bachelor of Science in Business, students must complete a minimum of 120 credit hours. Students must also earn a major GPA of 2.0, and a cumulative GPA of 2.0.

Optional Concentrations (12 Credits):


Students may elect to pursue concentrations in Finance, International Business and Economics, Management, and/or Marketing. Specific requirements for each concentration are listed below. Students must maintain an overall GPA of 3.0 in the concentration courses.

In addition to the courses listed above for the Business major, students pursuing the Marketing concentration must take two approved marketing electives, BUS 313 Principles of Marketing (3), a credit-based internship (3 credits or higher), and BUS 455 Marketing Strategy: Cases (3)  as their cases course for the Business major.

The Ethical Leadership Experiential Learning Core Requirement invites students to integrate their own personal call to leadership with a mature reflection on one or more of the core virtues of Justice, Courage, Integrity, and Humility.  Students will accomplish this by engaging in and reflecting upon the practice of virtue ethics within the context of one or more experiential learning activities.
