Mathematics Minor

A minor in mathematics is available to any undergraduate in the University. It is particularly attractive when combined with a major in Business, Computer Science, or Science.

Minor Requirements

20 credits:

MATH 211 - Mathematical Thinking Credits: (3)
MATH 247 - Calculus I Credits: (4)
MATH 248 - Calculus II Credits: (4)
MATH XXX - MATH Elective 200-Level or higher Credits: (3)
MATH XXX - MATH Elective 200-Level or higher Credits: (3)
MATH XXX - MATH Elective 200-Level or higher Credits: (3) or DATA 200 Introduction to Data Science (3)

Note

MATH 492 Practicum (3) , MATH 493 Practicum (0) may not be applied toward the minor in mathematics.

Students minoring in Mathematics and are majoring in a related major are allowed to double count three of the six courses. Students must take three courses that are not also counted for their major.
