PSCI 318 - Congressional Politics Credits: (3) This course is designed for majors or minors in political science and history. It is most appropriate for juniors or seniors yet may also be recommended for academically advanced sophomores. It may count as a requirement or an elective in political science, depending upon whether the student has taken another 300-level American politics course. In this course, we examine the legislative process, the structures and rules of the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives, representation, and the policy implication of the actions of the U.S. Congress.
