MATH 247 - Calculus I

This is an introduction to the fundamental concepts of differential and integral calculus with an emphasis on limits, continuity, derivatives and integrals of elementary functions. Applications to curve sketching, max-min values, related rates and areas will be given. Derivatives and integrals of elementary transcendental functions are developed. Prerequisite(s): MATH 114 or its equivalent or permission of the instructor.
