BUS 504 - Global Business and Economics

An introduction to the core concepts and tools of economic analysis that are relevant to management and leadership. Students will investigate the complexities of the contemporary global market system in which firms operate and the key external environments that influence business strategies and operational problem-solving. Concepts to be examined include: global capitalism, supply and demand, labor markets, monetary policy, international trade, and arbitrage.  Prerequisite(s): ECON 101 Foundations of Economics: Macroeconomics (3) and ECON 102 Foundations of Economics: Microeconomics (3).
