CYBER 354 - Cloud Security

Students will be introduced to industry best practices for cloud security across multiple cloud domains. Consideration will be given to the technology and techniques for designing, deploying, and securing data and applications in the cloud. Topics will include cloud concepts, architecture, data security, platform and infrastructure security, security operations, as well as industry practices such as incident response and risk management. This combination of material will provide the student with a broad understanding of the security risks inherent to cloud-based solutions while providing the tactics with which to mitigate and secure. Prerequisite(s): CYBER 260 Networking Administration (3). Prerequisite/Corequisite(s): CMSCI 355 Network Systems and Design (3).
