This course is designed to help seniors to understand and be able to articulate the themes and significance of the major documents of Vatican II, to understand the significance of Vatican II within its historical and cultural context-including challenges and controversies surrounding interpretation and implementation of the council-and to engage in thoughtful reflection about the task of studying theology and being a teacher of the faith in the Church today.
