SPAN 302 - Grammar and Composition Credits: (3) This course prepares students to focus on accuracy, fluency and meaningful use of grammar structures in context. This is accomplished through speaking, writing and reading activities, along with a brief review of the structures taught in the intermediate levels (but not the structures taught in SPAN 301: Introduction to Hispanic Studies). Emphasis is placed on grammar skills related to writing, such as coherence, transitions, and control of tense shifts. Students will learn to identify their own errors and weaknesses, and to develop the necessary strategies to correct them so they may enhance accuracy and fluency in their written and spoken Spanish. Prerequisite(s): SPAN 202 or equivalent.
