CHEM 410 - Seminar Credits: (1) Students will choose a focused topic in modern chemistry research, conduct a search for and evaluate primary literature related to the topic, and present a literature review of the topic in an oral presentation. Students will also gain experience receiving and giving feedback on practice presentations. This course provides students an opportunity to develop and practice the critical thinking and communication skills required in science. Lecture only. Required for senior chemistry majors. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 101 and CHEM 102. Successful completion of CHEM 451/HP 471 may be substituted.
