All students pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy must take a minimum of 18 credits in any discipline other than philosophy.

Electives

Note

To earn a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, students must complete a minimum of 120 credit hours. Students must also earn a major GPA of 2.0, and a cumulative GPA of 2.0.

Philosophy majors must obtain a minimum of 36 credits in Philosophy. Majors must also take three additional electives in philosophy; these are to be selected with the student’s advisor and are subject to the approval of the chair of the department. No more than one of these electives may be at the 100 or 200 level.
