BUS 245 - Internship Preparation Credits: (1) Internship Preparation, sponsored by the Career Center, is a one credit course open to all students with 2.0-2.5 GPA who have a major requirement for their internship. Students may take the course during the semester of the internship or the semester before the internship is to take place. The course will aid students in identifying, preparing and exploring their internship and career journeys. Topics will include internship searches, ethics, interviewing, personalizing a resume and cover letter, interviewing and dress for success. The course aims to equip students with knowledge and skills to understand as well as participate thoughtfully with internship exploration, the decision making process, personal journey and exercising a new level of self-awareness through the internship.
