Reading (Grade K-12), Certificate of Advanced Study

This program is designed for certified teachers seeking a program leading to a reading specialist certificate, K-12.

The Certificate of Advanced Study in Reading requires completion of 24 credits.

MSPED 606 - Teaching/Learning in Neurodiverse Credits: (3)

Changing to Degree Status

If a student wishes to change from a certificate only program to a degree program, he/she must submit a Change of Program Request Form.
A maximum of 24 credits from the certificate of advanced study in Reading may apply to the Reading (Grade K-12), M.Ed. program.
Deadline: Students must submit a Change of Program Request Form to their program director before completing the requirements for the certificate.
