The minor in computer science is available to all students, regardless of major. It is particularly attractive when combined with a major in business, mathematics, or science.
Elective credits must be at the 200 level or above, and at least three credits must be at the 300 level or higher. CMSCI 492 Practicum (1-3) , CMSCI 493 Practicum (1-3) may not be applied toward the minor in Computer Science.
Students minoring in Computer Science and are majoring in a related major are allowed to double count three of the six courses. Students must take three courses that are not also counted for their major.
