This course examines the main perspectives of political economy including who benefits under the current economic institutions. Topics include classic texts regarding economic theory (e.g., Smith, Marx, & Keynes), the economic theory of Distributivism, as well as politics, money, and culture under democracy, capitalism, and globalization.
