MEDUC 570 - Supporting National Board Certification: Descriptive Writing

This course will guide educators through the process of observation and descriptive writing to think systematically about their interactions, engagement, and instruction with students. Participants will record themselves teaching and practice descriptive writing. The course will create a space for peer feedback through an understanding of the rubrics of the National Board Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS). Participants may be in any stage of the National Board Certification process or may be seeking to develop their teacher research skills.
