FAAR 126 - Introduction to Fiber Art

In this introductory level studio course, students develop skills related to fiber art such as dying, embroidery, textile manipulation and quilting. Students will explore contemporary practices through two dimensional and three-dimensional projects. Emphasis is placed on experimentation and sustainability with found and non-traditional fiber media.
