HSRV 308 - The Foster Care System

This course explores the reasoning, laws, and procedures that govern the decisions of local and county officials to bring children into foster care. Through critical analysis of relevant print and non-print media, students will develop a fundamental framework for understanding the nuances of the foster care system, and the effects of that system on children and parents.
