THEOL 332 - Women of the Bible and #MeToo

This course places stories of exploited and abused women in the Bible in critical dialogue with contemporary conversations based in the #MeToo Movement. It uses concepts of agency and violence to interpret primary texts and draw connections between ancient and contemporary sources. It considers the values and limitations of using modern interpretative frameworks to apply to history.
