EDUC 386 - Spring Elementary Internship I

Candidates will work under the mentorship of a qualified inservice teacher in a Partner School. Candidates will engage in the daily responsibilities of the classroom teacher while completing assignments and teaching lessons in conjunction with education courses required during the junior spring semester. A specific schedule of internship days will be provided to candidates by the Director of Teacher Education prior to the start of the internship. Internship days are a requirement of the Maryland teacher certification process. Students are responsible for transportation to assigned placement.
