A study of Magic Realism and the development of the fantastic genre in Latin American literature from the 19th century to the present. Upon completion of SPAN 301 with C+ or better, eligible students will receive six credits prior learning for SPAN 300. Prerequisite(s): SPAN 202 or equivalent.
