CHEM 404 - Instrumental Analysis

A study of the theory and applications of instrumental methods of analysis, with a focus on chromatography and mass spectrometry. Each technique and its various operational modes will be discussed in detail, along with applications across disciplines drawing from current literature and expertise in the field. Lecture and lab. Students must earn a C- or higher in all prerequisite courses. Prerequisite(s): CHEM 101, CHEM 102, CHEM 201, and CHEM 202. $115 Fee Applies Spring, even years.
