Designed to provide a broad background as preparation for further studies in the discipline. Familiarizes the student with the major levels and unifying principles of biological organization. Topics covered include evolution, biodiversity and ecology. Students attempting to take this course for a third time need the permission of the Chair of the Science Department to register.
