Government Contracting I is a DAU Level I equivalent contracting course for contracting personnel, active military personnel and contractors who seek a basic understanding of the government contracting field. This course provides foundational knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) System. Specifically, the course provides immersion training into the FAR; Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS); the DFARS Procedures, Guidance, and Information (PGI); and Department of Defense (DoD) class deviations from the FAR and DFARS.
