MBA 519 - Strategic Analysis and Integrated Decision Making Credits: (4) This capstone course examines the design and execution of a firm’s competitive strategy. Students are organized into management teams to run a business simulation. Teams design their firm’s competitive strategy and execute that strategy through operating decisions in product development, production, research and development, pricing, marketing, human resource management, financial management, and quality initiatives. The simulation is internet-based; teams upload their decisions according to a fixed schedule, and decisions interact. Students will also be required to demonstrate specialized proficiency in their area of concentration or a selected area of interest. Prerequisite(s): Minimum of 24 graduate credit hours (including MBA 503 , MBA 504 and MBA 509 ) and all undergraduate prerequisites.
