This course examines the reciprocal relationship between population dynamics and society as the three demographic processes of fertility, mortality, and migration shape human populations. The course will also explore various demographic trends in the United States and various countries around the world. Finally, the course will highlight key sources of data, innovative methods, and practical applications of demographic work to various aspects of society. (Every other year)
