The first of a two-semester calculus-based introduction to classical physics with emphasis on concepts, problem solving and laboratory skills. Topics include forces and motion (Newton’s Laws), conservation laws, rigid body dynamics, oscillations, and fluid mechanics. Lecture and lab. Prerequisite(s): MATH 247 Calculus I (4).
